The Oxford Culture Review is hosting its first event! In collaboration with the Oxford University Medieval and Modern Languages Graduate Network, we will be holding an evening of poetry, music, and film on Thursday 19th February. Amongst the performers will be singer-songwriter Jake Downs, Leo Mercer (President of Oxford University Poetry Society), and Professor Nicola Gardini, author of Stamattino and Diario. We will also be showing films from Oxford Broadcasting Association, and there will be poetry readings in Italian, Gaidhlig, and Russian! It will be held in the Pichette Auditorium in Pembroke College, starting at 8.30 with drinks served from 8.15 – more information is available on the Facebook event. We’re delighted to have so many talented performers and we hope to see you there to enjoy the evening with us.
